This traditionally made sparkling wine is from the rolling hills of Franciacorta, in Lombardy between the southern shore of Lake Iseo and Brescia. This is a blend of 85% chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir, that has been allowed to go through second fermentation in bottle, and then aged on the lees for more than 2 years. Ripe apple and pear notes are well balanced by the brioche lees flavours, gentle fine bubbles and bright refreshing style.
